Deleting your Battler Golf League account
You can delete your Battler Golf League account and your data whenever you like, straight from the app.
How to delete your account
- Open the Battler Golf League app and log in.
- Go to your Profile from the menu, or your welcome screen if you haven't joined a league yet.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Confirm.
Your account is deleted as soon as you confirm. If your league is still running, we'll sort it by hand within 30 days.
If you would rather we did it for you, or you can't get into the app, email us at hello@thebgl.com.au from the address on your account and we will sort it within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account we remove your profile details (your name, email, phone number, postcode, Golf Link number and photo), your handicap and your chat messages. We also take you off our waitlist and our mailing list.
What we keep
Your match results stay on the league record without your name, because the ladder and your opponents' results depend on them.
If you have paid to register for a league, we hold onto the order and payment records we are legally required to keep for tax and accounting, handled through our store. These do not include your app activity, and we keep them only for as long as the law requires.
