Battler Golf League was started by two golf-obsessed mates from South Australia. We both play off just over 20, so yes, we sit firmly in battler territory.
Any meaningful competition outside of club credit? Doesn't really exist for us. We wanted to change that.
A proper comp for everyday golfers. Something to play for with your mate. Something that actually gets the competitive juices flowing.
We're past the days of Saturday arvo footy and cricket. Golf is the game now. And we reckon it deserves a competition that matches how seriously we take it, even if our handicaps say otherwise.
Time poor but golf obsessed. That's us. Probably you too.
Above all though, it's about the ridiculous moments you'll find yourselves in as a team. Spending time with your mate. Meeting other keen golfers in your area. That's the real point.
