Registration FAQ
How does the tiered pricing work?
The first 10 teams lock in Ultra Early Eagle at $125 per person. The next 20 get Early Birdie at $135, and the final 34 sit at Par Price $147. Once a tier sells out the next one opens automatically. Full season RRP is $157, so every tier is below the recommended price.
What does registration include?
Your team entry covers the full 6-month league season, app access for both players, a BGL stubby holder, and eligibility for all prizes. Green fees at each course are your own. See all prizes.
How many teams can play?
Brisbane & Gold Coast is capped at 64 teams total. Once they're full, they're full. Registrations close Sunday 14 June. The league kicks off Wednesday 1 July 2026.
What handicap range is eligible?
Both players need a Golf Australia handicap between 10 and 36. Below 10 is too good for us, and above 36 is capped at 36. The handicap system keeps matches fair regardless of skill difference between teams.
Can I change my teammate later?
Each team gets one substitute per season. Your sub doesn't need to be pre-registered. They can be added on match day. They must have a valid Golf Australia handicap between 10 and 36. The registered teammate handles scoring in the app.
What if I don't have a Golf Australia handicap?
Both players must have an Official Golf Australia Handicap and GolfLink Number with a handicap between 10 and 36. This is verified after registration. If you register without meeting these requirements, your entry may be cancelled with no refund. See our Refund Policy for details.
What about sandbagging and cheating?
We take this seriously. Every player's name and handicap is cross-referenced against their GolfLink number, and handicaps are verified prior to each match. We also encourage you to ask your opponents to show their official GA handicap on the day. Golf Australia's handicapping system also has built-in measures that limit aggressive sandbagging. League integrity is our top priority. See all FAQs.
